Case1. El Paso ISD
Speaker: Albert Vega - Senior data analyst
It started out very simple!
All data tiles here are related to how students were participating.
How many students were enrolled?
What are technology needs throughout the district?
Are they doing their assignments online?
Are they turning in assignments?
Are they going to online meetings?
Are they turning in their grades?
Are the teachers turning in grades?
You can see the overall survey participation (1st tile).
Are they participating in the survey?
Have they answered every survey that's gone out?
Are they only partially participating? or are they not participating at all?
Are they submitting assignments through Schoology? (3rd tile)
We have 90% of the students that participated in Schoology.
We look at overall participation
We can see 24% of students were fully participating and then we have participation that was only partial.
We were interested in those that had no participation at all.
So, with that, we are able to identify who these kids were.
When we click the excel button, we can get a list of those kids.
