The background that I became interested in online education programs is because of the situation that the schools and universities in the world faced.
I believe that universities can future-proof their roles as centers of education while serving student needs beyond the degree.
I have listed some factors below that show why the role of universities has to be changed and, online higher education programs' role gets more important.
1.6 billion children affected by Covid-19. This means that many children are not able to be received a proper education.
Lack of Experts
As rapid globalization and technological change have shaped the world's job market, skill shortages have become a growing problem for employers.
Students who choose natural sciences decreased for 3 consecutive years.
